Oldboy had such an impact on me that words are not enough to describe this. That's why this movie is definitely in my top 3 movies ever made. It is there because it is a solid, a lot of movies seem to miss the divine plot. Although the acting and script are top notch, the story is really the icing cake.When it comes to the manuscript Park Chan-Wook is a unique (at least in the Western standards) in his way filming. The colors are so vivid and it seems that he wanted every shot is a work of art. Tip: If you like shooting Oldboy, take a look at Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, the third part of the Park's revenge trilogy. Its still a better camera-work Oldboy.
